Hey! I'm Dishanth 👋🏽
UX designer and researcher currently based in Austin, Texas 🎸
Starting off as a computer science major in the first years of my undergrad gave me a strong foundation in programming, software development and most importantly, problem solving. When I switched over to computer game science and pursued my design journey the skills I had learned helped me bridge the gap between technical development and design.
Switching over to design allowed me to turn my interests in art, visual design, storytelling, video games, and human behavior into viable skills I can hone to create fulfilling experiences with people at its core.
I am currently pursuing a masters in information science at the iSchool at UT Austin where I’ve been able to cultivate the other side of design, UX research. Learning the skills required to better understand users has allowed me to create truly impactful experiences.
In my spare time, you’ll find me playing video games 🕹️ , watching esports 🖥️, playing table tennis 🏓 or doodling something random in my sketchbook 🎨
